Partnership Wilmington Leadership Academy for Young Women will be a
public private partnership between the New Hanover County Board of Education/New Hanover County Schools and the Board of Young Women Leading, Inc.
The Chairman of the New Hanover County Board of Education will serve as the district’s representative to the Board of Young Women Leading, Inc.
Board of Education Chairman and NHCS Superintendent will each appoint members to the YWL Advisory Committee, which will guide and monitor efforts to align school operations and practices with the core values of the partnership.
YWL will provide a variety of service and program enhancements.
