Who is your Site Representative? Site Representatives are a vital communication link between members and chapter leaders. Site Reps keep bulletin boards updated; answer questions at their site or refer co-workers to the appropriate chapter officers and union staff for answers; welcome new employees and sign up new members; and relay information about problems and needs at their worksite back to chapter leaders. Site Reps duties are fairly easy and require a minimum amount of time (usually a couple of hours a month). However, it is NOT the Site Reps duties to sit in on disciplinary meetings; for that, a Job Steward must be contacted. In Chapter 293, Job Suarez, Chris Lawyer and Daisy Bennett may be contacted to assist the member with any disciplinary issues. To contact them refer the last page of the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Site Rep please contact Evelyn Earll by email at [email protected] or by cell/text 714-287-2118
Currently, Site Reps are needed at the following ELEVEN (11) sites: Brookhaven - Bryant Ranch - Child Care - El Camino Real HS - La Entrada - Lakeview -
LindaVista -Mabel Paine -Ruby Drive - Valadez - Van Buren
