Quaker Hill Outdoor Space Maximum group size: 750

Under the shade of tall pines, with its small bandstand, dance pad and concrete picnic tables, Quaker Hill is a beautiful setting for

a picnic, family gathering or small outdoor musical performance.*Note: Restrooms will need to be supplied by renter at Quaker Hill.

Nevada County Fairgrounds Rental Rates

Ponderosa Hall Daily Rental: $950 Includes use of kitchen, 16 round tables, 8 rectangular tables, 200 chairs, and 1 trash bin

Main Street Center Daily Rental: $1,800 Includes 30 tables & 300 chairs

Sugar Pine Lodge Daily Rental: $400 Includes 10 tables & 125 chairs

Main Show Arena Daily Rental: $1,800 Includes use of arena box office and concession booth.

Whitney Pavilion Daily Rental: $1,000 Includes 10 picnic tables

Northern Mines (Entire Building) Daily Rental (entire building): $1,500 Includes use of kitchen, 30 tables and 300 chairs

Northern Mines (South Wing) Daily Rental: $650 Includes use of kitchen, 15 tables and 150 chairs

Northern Mines (North Wing) Daily Rental: $650 Includes 10 tables, 100 chairs and use of kitchen

Northern Mines (Argosy Wing) Daily Rental: $650 Includes 10 tables, 100 chairs and use of kitchen

Quaker Hill (by group size) Up to 250: $450 (251-400) $550 (400-750 maximum) $950

$500: security deposit (refundable after post-inspection); $125: trash removal (per 2 cubic yard bin). Trash cans, liners and recycle containers are provided with each rental. All renters are subject to the Fairgrounds’ “Recycling Guidelines.” Trash fee may be waived if renter removes garbage from facilities after event.

All rentals are required to have a $1,000,000 liability insurance coverage. Coverage is available through the Fairgrounds; call for a quote.

Rental price/day, set-up & clean up: Ponderosa Hall: $225 Northern Mines: $375 Per Wing: $150 Main Street: $450 Sugar Pine: $100

Equipment such as staging, picnic tables, bleachers, etc. are available on a first-come, first-served basis at an additional cost.

High volume electricity and natural gas users are subject to a “utility surcharge” on a per event basis.

All fees, costs, and terms are subject to change without notice.

Additional Rental Policies

If an event is canceled, $75 of the security deposit is non-refundable. The following fees are in addition to the rental rates:
