Cutest Scrap Quilt EVER!

Pattern by Gail Garber Design by Ann Marie Stegen

Class 405: $125 + tax

Saturdays, January 13 & 27 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

When I first saw Ann Marie’s version of this quilt, I absolutely fell in love with the design. I took a photo of her quilt and then set about creating a pattern for it, with her permission. With no pattern and only a photo, I carefully figured out the math of it all. Because this is a block repeat quilt with just one block as well as a setting block, your quilt can be any size you desire. The pattern and materials list will make a quilt 56” x 60”. Your quilt can be made larger or smaller by making more or fewer blocks. Two different quilts are shown here, one with random scraps and a color coordinated quilt. As you cut your squares, keep in mind the style you think you might want for your finished quilt top.

Hosta with Barbara Gary

Designed by Judy & Brad Niemeyer Class #310: Four Sessions: $96 + tax

Wednesdays, January 17, 24, 31 & February 7 1:00-4:00pm

This pattern line of Leaf inspired designs includes

Judy’s latest paper piecing technique, involving

curved-line paper piecing.

How do you trim a quarter-inch seam without an

Add-A-Quarter Ruler, and with perfection every

time? Well, this pattern teaches you how!

A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing

is used to assemble the units required to make this

quilt.

Traditional piecing and curved piecing techniques

are used to join the units after the foundation piecing

is completed.

The color layout for the

quilts on the cover of each

selection were designed in

Quiltster, a subscription-

based fabric auditioning

application. With Quilt-

ster, you can load fabrics

into spaces on a quilt de-

sign to see what it looks

like before completed.

This beautiful design

allows you to learn

Judy’s paper piecing

techniques, including a

then sew at your pace

between sessions.
