“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. … And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-4,14—NKJV

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glo-ry of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.“ Col. 1:27.

There were many women who would be giv-en such a privilege, but God chose Elizabeth. Thank God that She received this revelation. You and I should thank God for bestowing upon us Eternal Life through the Sacrifice of His Son Jesus on the Cross. It is Jesus in you, the hope of glory.

While Job was facing the most difficult days of his life, he paused this question to God: “Are Your days like the days of a mortal man? Are Your years like the days of a mighty man.” Job 10:5 In verse 8 of the same chapter he confesses, “Your hands have made me and fashioned me, An intricate unity; Yet You would destroy me.” Here, we see Job ac-knowledging that he was God’s handwork. Despite his predicament, he recognized that God hands had made him. Whatever God makes must be unique!

When Apostle Peter was sent to Cornelius house, he heard a voice saying, "What God has cleansed you must not call common." Acts 10:15. You and I were created in God’s image. Gen. 1:27. You should never allow somebody to deceive you or cause you to think you are just a ‘nobody.’ The whole heaven celebrates your turning back to God in repentance. "Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels

of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10 - NKJV

You and I should not be blackmailed. The Word of God declares: “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” Eccl. 3:1. As you continue reading, it states, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Eccl. 3:11. If all fruits were guavas the world would be a strange place to live. Toddlers would have it rough. Their digestive systems have not fully de-veloped to contend with it. Give them pawpaw fruit

and receive their endorsements.

There are some who have been belittled by their names. Those who hail from western Kenya you must have heard the name IMBUNTU. It means a minute un-consolidated particle in Ugali that affects the eater in terms of the gratification. The worst scenario is where the diner is compelled to pulverize it in the processes

of eating by using hands. This is considered unneces-sary distraction! No one condoned such nonsense during our mothers ‘ time, it was considered a hindrance to proper feeding or taboo. A properly raised lady and ripe for marriage was

thoroughly vetted based on her character, hardworking and her cooking skills. Preparing nice Ugali was the litmus test before a suitor would be recommended for her. Beauty was important too but secondary! In their quest to have Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to re-form its systems to conduct free and fair 2017 free General Election National Alli-

ance party (NASA) in Kenya came up with a list of conditions they wanted met before participating in this election exercise. They labeled it: „irreducible Minimum‟. Similarly this re-quirement was the yard-stick that was employed to qualify a lady who looked forward to a successful marriage. The ability to fix IMBUNTULESS Ugali meal was top on the list.

Preparing nice Ugali was the litmus test be-fore a suitor would be recommended for her.

I know several people who were given de-meaning names but have made it; disapprov-ing those who had dismissed them based on their names. “An optimist sees an oppor-tunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.” –Anonymous. In early Nineteen eighties, we had superb super league players who turned up for MOTCOM (Ministry of Works Transport and Communication) based in Ka-kamega town and later AFC Leopards. Peter LICHUNGU (rat) and Patrick SHI-LASI (glass) were admired by many. The duo is among the best soccer defend-ers that Kenya has ever produced. Both players represented Kenya in Interna-tional tournaments

Just be yourself. That is why you have or had different parents. There is a unique treasure in you that is coveted by others. Perhaps you have never discov-ered it. The only one we would recommend to be emulated is Jesus Christ alone. “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Col. 2:9 (KJV

We must be cheerful every moment. There is something posi-tive you have that the world needs. You might be the next ce-lebrity the world is looking for. A Kenyan Marathon runner Mr. Ki-metto shocked the World by win-ning Berlin Marathon a couple of months ago. He also broke a

World Record set by another Kenyan. While being interviewed by BBC, he said that he had shelved farming to venture in marathon five years ago. He hails from Eldoret in Uasin Gishu County. Congratulations to you Mr. Kimetto! The words of Hale must have been running in his vein: Describing cheerfulness he declares, “To look up and not down, to look forward and not back, to look out and not in, and to lend a hand. “ –Hale. The Word of God through His servant Prophet Ezekiel is a clear proof that God banks on his people to play a major role in His work of redemption.

He declares: "When I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wick-ed way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. “’ Ezekiel 3:18-19 –NKJV It is challenging to learn that there are so many acts of wickedness and atrocities conducted in the nations of the world. Are we bold enough to confront these wicked people with the Word of God so that they may turn away from their wicked ways and live?

Public officials or leaders who embezzle public funds for personal use are wicked. Such individuals should never be celebrated but arrested and brought to justice! Corrup-tion emanates from un-regenerated (sinful) heart. Corruption kills silently!

God has granted us a another opportunity to be involved in His work. We are not common people. We are a people with a divine mission. We are not alone. The whole heaven is backing us. The Holy Spirit of God is here to conduct God’s business through us as God’s vessels. "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17 Don’t be cheated again! We should be counted among those who traded with the talents that we have been given to bring profit (bringing many lost people to repentance) to the Kingdom of God. Read Matthew 25. He who wins souls is wise! “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.” Prov. 11:30

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.”

God is calling his people to repentance. He says: “ Come now, and let us

reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They

shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be

as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;

But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the

mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20-NKJV

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to ac-knowledging that I am a sinner. Please forgive all my sins and wash me clean with your precious Blood. Come into my heart and save me. Write my name in the Book Of Life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and Power to witness your Word and Love

to others. I am now born-again. Thank you for saving me. I n Jesus’ holy name I pray and believe. Amen!
