E-Newsletter- Vol.-2

The Central Board of Secondary Education announced class X result on 29th May. We feel proud to announce impeccable result of our meritorious students, who have reached the pinnacle in their academic performance. It is a matter of elation for the school fraternity to witness the academic acumen of the students here in the school.Rahul Paliwal is the school topper with an aggregate of 97%.Srishti stands at second place with an aggregate of 94%.Anushka Bisht has secured third position with 92%.The fourth position is achieved by Ikra Khan with an aggregate of 91%. Schools has been successful again to achieve 100% pass rate. 10% students obtained an aggregate of 90% and 85% students secured first division.The school congratulates its students for their massive success and wishes for their bright future.

Class X Result

The students of Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar once more achieved another milestone in CBSE class XII examination giving 100 percent result for the session 2017-18.Owing to the school's rigorous academic curriculum, our students Abhishek Singh, Gunjan Garg & Isha Agarwal aced the school with an aggregate of 95.5%. Total number of distinctions in different subjects are 109 with 100% pass rate. 90% students secured first division. The school wishes its students a very bright and sunny future.

Class XII Result

Indirapuram public school celebrated the Labour Day- "The International worker's Day" to acknowledge the efforts of class 4 employees.Kids of Pre-primary section along with their teachers distributed the cards as a mark of respect.The day was celebrated with full zeal.

On 4 May 2018 Workshop on "Good Manners was organised for Pre-primary children at the school. The motive of the workshop was to develop social skills in children

Table tennis competition for boys was organised by our sports team,the game improves hand-eye coordination and stimulates mental alertness, concentration and tactical strategy. Students learnt new techniques and gave tough competition to each other. Vayu house stood first.

A Debate competition "Pow Wow" was organised at the school. The topic of the debate was - Modern Gadgets have made us slaves to machines. The students raised very good and relevant points for and against the motion.

On 9th May, in the Inter House activity, the students of all the four houses gave book reviews on the famous books of well known contemporary authors like Ruskin Bond, Mulkraj Anand, and Sudha Murthy. The book reviews were well presented by the students after much research work. They presented objective summaries of the main ideas of the authors. The students gave a descriptive and critical evaluative accounts of the books.They also prepared very attractive scrap books reflected the events of authors' lives and their works. All the houses put their best efforts in the aforesaid activities. Vayu House received 1st position, Agni 2nd position and Prithvi stood at 3rd position.

To make the kids familiar "Visit to the school "activity was organised on1st May 2018.They visited different departments of the school and enjoyed interacting with other teachers .

The Primary and Pre-Primary wing celebrated mothers day. To make it joyful,memorable and special,kids enjoyed the activity of card making. Teachers motivated the little ones to help their mothers in household chores to make their day special

Pre-primary students of the school participated "Yellow colour day" celebration. The students came dressed up in yellow and brought yellow fruits. The activities taken up by the students also exhibited the vibrations of Yellow colour. Beautiful bees, sun, chicks art and yellow hens were made by little kids. I

Inter-school ActivityOn 2nd May 2018, our students participated in dance competition 'Sabrash' at DPS Siddhartha Vihar, Ghaziabad. Fifteen schools across the National Capital Region participated in the competition wherein our students bagged 1st prize. They were thoroughly appreciated for their slick and aesthetics dance movements.

Yoga relaxes mind and helps relieve stress but to perform Yoga as a competition involves exceptional confidence.

The students of many schools across National Capital Region performed yoga at Vanasthali Public School in

Ghaziabad on 28th April in the 3rd Inter School Yoga Championship organized by FSCM. The students of

Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar proved their mettle by winning many prizes. Dharna Shrivastava

(under10) secured second prize, Atharva Maurya(under 10) secured 3rd position and Abhinav Malviya bagged 3rd

position respectively in the competition.

Fuelz Sports Event Management organized Mini Football Championship 2018(7A size) at Mahamaya Sports Stadium,

Ghaziabad. The boys team player under-12 of the school played with various teams of other schools of NCR. Young

players of our school gave a spell binding performance. The highlight of the tournament was the sportsman skill of a

very young player, Anadi Sharma who bagged the Golden Gloves Award. Divit Sharma of class II C was declared as

Amazing Player of the tournament.

On 27th April 2018, our students participated in movie making competition which was held at Bal Bharti Public School, Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad. The theme of the movie was Cyber Security and Cyber Crime wherein the students elaborated about the crime that involves computer devices and internet. Types of cyber crimes were also showcased in the movie. eg. hacking, cyber extortion, cyber terrorism etc..Likewise, the movie also explained about the cyber security which is a well designed technique to protect computers, networks, personal data etc. from unauthorized access. Movie was well appreciated by the judges and our students, Aditya Jha of IX A and Vedant

Workshops

Max Mueller conducted a Seminar "Tests, Exam and Evaluation". Our German teacher Ms. Surbhi Malik attended the Seminar. It was led by Ms. Christiane Bolte Costabiei, who is renowned author and a trainer.

Indirapuram Public School always provides a good platform to its educators to address the academic challenges and get a deeper understanding of concepts. In connection with the same thought the school sent its three teachers Ms. Renu Gupta, Mr. Naresh Bharadwaj and Ms. Supriya to attend Annual Conference by Forum of Public Schools on 4th May. Mr. CG Thomas, Director Education Niti Aayog participated as the Chief Guest. Another speaker was Mr. G.C.Tripathi, Academic Director of BL Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Both the eminent speakers emphasized on the integration of values in teaching. Mr. M.M. Pant, former Province Chancellor, IGNOU was also one of the speakers. He laid stress on our critical thinking rather than using artificial intelligence. Conclusion of the session was on promoting the excellence in school education which is to be made possible with teamwork. The fact was also emphasized that the wellbeing of the child is possible with the blend of balanced use of technology and logical thinking.

On 14th June 2018, Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar, provided an opportunity to the school staff to undergo one day training programme to give a practical exposure about the mechanism of automobiles. The anchor Mr. Shishupal from Ashok Leyland covered the following points in the session:*BS4 technology to regulate the air pollutants coming from internal combustion engine.*Working of electrical sensor and actuator, Repercussions of sensor failure, Diesel injection system in BS4,Road safety awareness, Fuel savings tipsThe session turned out to be very informative to the participants.

Shakespearean Drama

To mark the 454th birth anniversary of the greatest playwright of all time, William Shakespeare, Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar organized Shakespearean Drama Contest- season 4 on 11th May. The spirit of theater was celebrated as a part of the 'English Literary Month-'Belles-letters' involving some of the best Shakespearean Comedies. The competition engaged more than 20 schools across NCR and Ghaziabad in this season. Through the genre of drama, contestants explored the beauty of Shakespeare's language of his classic themes. The day was filled with mirth and laughter as the participants highlighted the humour of the Shakespearean comedies. It was indeed endearing to watch the enthusiastic participants who provided an exciting and scintillating entertainment. The Principal Ms. Renu Sharma thanked the Chief Guest Ms. Pritpal Kaur, an author and poet. She awarded the winners and motivated the students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers.

Summer Camp- Abhivyakti

On 31'st May Summer camp of school culminated with a ceremony wherein the students showcased their learning quotient during the camp. Parents of participating students were invited and everyone appreciated the skills that were mastered by the students. Each child received a participation certificate and went back home, geering up for a fun-filled summer vacation.

Achievements

It gives us immense pleasure to share that Indirapuram Public School,Pratap Vihar and International Coordinator Ms Shraddha Singh has received a certificate from Pakistan by Mr Nadeem Akhtar Khan (Admin of Projects for Global Education) for cultural box exchange project. The international coordinator is thankful to the Principal Ms Renu Sharma who always gives us wings to fly, explore undiscovered skills ,talents and do wonders...This cultural box exchange will definitely build a bridge across all the countries in the world.We are hopeful to receive such appreciation awards in future aswell.

The school takes pride in sharing that the Meritorious students of class XII were felicitated with the Certificate of Appreciation & Mementoes at Institute of Technology and Science (ITS) on 09.06.2018 for their remarkable performance in the board examination.

Acknowledging & Rewarding the talent is the key to motivation that keeps pushing up to go higher in the life. Meritorious students of our school who secured top ranks in class XII Board Examination were honoured by IPEM college on 08.06.2018.
