The Story of Dragon Boat Festival

In ancient China, Qu-Yuan was a great

person with respectable personality.

Unfortunately, his country was perished.

He decided to die for his motherland and then

jumped into Miluo River.

Great Man Dead

In order to save Qu-Yuan’s life,

the countrymen driven dragon boats

to search his body.

They feed rice dumplings to

fishes. Tried to make them full and

won’t eat Qu-Yuan’s remains.

Peoples’ Actions

Although their efforts were all in vain finally. The acts were kept for

thousands of years.

And the day of Qu-Yuan’s death became the Dragon Boat Festival

to commemorate this great man.
