As I write this newsletter, I’m think-ing of you, our dearly loved and faith-

ful support team. Recently at a mis-sion’s conference, a precious elderlylady said to me “thank-you for all youdo” and I replied “thank-YOU also forYOUR faithfulness in praying and giv-ing. Without YOU we couldn’t dowhat we do. WE’RE a team doingOUR work TOGETHER.” We smiledand were greatly encouraged as we leftthe church together. Yes, Lord, keepsending us by your dearly loved people! This brief conversation captures ourheart-felt appreciation and love foreach of you. Thank-you for loving usand others through your giving, pray-ing and acts of kindness. God’s richestblessings to you and your loved ones.

We pray 3John 2 for you “Beloved, I pray that allmay go well with you and that you maybe in good health, as it goes well with yoursoul.” We have experienced 3 John 6b-8through you in 2015 and trust theLord for the same in 2016 “You will dowell to send them on their journey in amanner worthy of God. For they havegone out for the sake of the name, accept-ing nothing from the Gentiles. Thereforewe ought to support people like these, thatwe may be fellow workers for the truth.”

Western Samar. This school was ham-mered by super typhoon Haiyan inNovember 2013 ruining all their books.I’m very pleased to report that thisprayer goal was met in October andthe books for grades K-3 will be dedi-cated to the Lord and turned-over tothe principal, teachers, 600+ students, parents and their communityDecember 14. Their Christmas-NewYear break starts the 19th so this willbe a “very merry Christmas!” for theschool. On June 19 the curriculum forgrades 4-6 were turned-over in a spe-cial ceremony so now the teachers ofall grades can teach using Departmentof Education approved books made ofhigh-quality materials for years tocome. Providing the books has createdthe opportunity for Basey-area

churches and the Tacloban City, Leyte-based teams of Food for the Hungryand Child Evangelism Fellowship(CEF) to teach “Bible-based values”using CEF material to the students asrequested by the principal because shehas a holistic concern for her schooland community. I’ll goto Manila December 7to participate in thisceremony, help withevangelistic Christmasparties for street chil-dren and their families, encourage Dave andBecky Majam in theirtransition from paidstaff to self-supportingACTION missionariesand attend the wed-

ding of Pastor Lem Capili who’s alongtime friend and partner in min-istry to street kids and disaster re-sponse including this book project. I’mone of his sponsors so I’m glad to be apart of his special day. I return toMinneapolis the 22nd. Proverbs 13:19adescribes this well “A desire fulfilled issweet to the soul.”

Pump boat turned-overIn July we gave $1,820 to Talibao FaithMission Christian Church lead byPastor Bernabe Dayola to help providethem a pump boat for Gospel outreach, visitation and school transportation. On September 12 our teammatesturned-over and dedicated to theLord’s service this boat which is a bigboost to the church’s ministry andservice to the community.
