CEMEX annual reports25 years telling the story of a leader
...and the story continuesThis year, signi collaborated once again with CEMEX on the design and production of its 2015 annual report, marking the 26th consecutive year of this productive partnership.
The document, produced as a pdf document and an interactive website, highlights the company’s strengths and attributes, as well as its capacity to transform ideas into realities, building a better world for all of its stakeholders.
Building a better future
2015 ANNUAL REPORT
For more than 25 years signi has worked hand in hand with CEMEX to produce its annual reports. From minimalistic designs to the use of sophisti-cated resources like metallic papers, cut-outs, and engravings; from print and pdfs to interactive ver-sions, every report reflects the company’s constant dynamism.
CEMEX annual reports stand out not only for their original and attractive design, but for the focus and careful planning applied to meeting the needs of all their audiences, while communicating key messages and positioning the company just as it intends, year after year.
The reports produced for CEMEX have garnered acclaim from their audiences, specialized orga-nizations and competitions, winning top prizes at events like the Nicholson Awards, from the National Association of Investors Corporation; Vision Awards, from the League of American Communication Professionals; ARC Awards, from Mercomm; Latin Finance magazine; and many more.
But the highest recognition of all is the privilege of continuing to work with this exceptional company, which has demonstrated through the years how to capitalize on good design to support growth and leadership.
A long-lasting relationship that has produced outstanding design pieces, great satisfaction, and close friendship.
Beyond the annual reportsigni’s collaboration with CEMEX has gone well be-yond its annual report. During more than a quarter of a century, our studio has worked on an array of projects ranging from corporate identity to interac-tive products, from investor kits to cement bags.
Among the many notable projects are:
• Redesign and standardization of its corporate identity, including some of CEMEX’s flagship brands like Monterrey and Tolteca, and the identity for ready-mix trucks.
• Design of CEMEX’s first website in 1995.• Production of its first environmental report
(1995) and the subsequent EHS reports through today’s sustainability reports.
• Other projects include several versions of CEMEX’s company book, an investor kit, orientation program for new employees, Our voice newsletter, annual reports for Cementos Tolteca, Cementos Maya, and Valenciana de Cementos (in the 90s), and today for CEMEX LatAm Holdings; sustainability reports for CEMEX Mexico, CEMEX Colombia, and CLH; the identity to commemorate the company’s 90th and 110th anniversary; visual material for the bell-ringing ceremony at the NYSE, and for some stockholders’ meetings.
