TORRENTE AT THE DOUBLE!For many, the 2019 season will be etched in the memory for years to come with a dramatic finish written into the history books as the destiny of the UIM F1 H2O World Championship title was decided on the final lap of the season.
For Jonas Andersson of Sweden the title was within touching distance going into the last lap - but with just three turns to go defending champion Shaun Torrente did enough to snatch it from him, the pair tied on points and the coveted world title decided on a countback for the first time in the sport’s 36-year history…

The Hungarian Powerboat Federation celebrates its 90th anniversary this year and since becoming an established entity in 1930 Hungarians are proud to have celebrated more than 50 World and European Championship titles as the country has grown to become one of the ten most active powerboating nations in the world.
The 2019 story of the Italian Powerboat Federation is all about a driver who has stood head and shoulders above all the classifications of World and European events. Born in 1979 in Monticelli d’Ongina and hailing from Caorso-Piacenza, Claudio Fanzini absolutely dominated both Circuit classes F-250 and F-350.
