20, the four-time Grammy-winningsinger offers viewers a more personallook at his life and career through musicalperformances and biographical bits.Backed by a 36-piece band, he performsoriginal cuts from the new album and pastreleases, along with classics and romanticstandards, as well as a duet with CecileMcLorin Salvant. Those are intercut withsegments about his life, including footagegoing back to his childhood from Bublefamily movies.The point, says Buble, is to show view-

ers who he is as a person, which is an ideathat came to him after being mistaken foran “American Idol” contestant on a recentflight from Argentina.

Therewas just a great vibe and a great feel.”And that vibe is something he hopes to

bring to the NBC special.“I’ve got the greatest musicians in the

world sitting with me onstage,” Bublesays, “and their ability to sort of get intothat pocket, that deep pocket and to swinglike crazy and to make this stuff feel sogreat gives us all the ability to be authen-tic. And it’s not just about me being me,you know, my personality or the things Isay. It’s about making sure the music isauthentic. Bayonne Parking Utility switching toenforcement by license PlatePermit Stickers to be Phased Out

Mayor Jimmy Davis announced that the Bayonne Parking Utility’s park-ing sticker permits will be replaced with “virtual” permits registered to li-cense plates, beginning with permit renewals in 2019. The transition toenforcement by license plate will be gradual as zone permits are renewed,beginning with the downtown Orange and Purple Zones. Enforcementby license plate will spread to the rest of Bayonne as midtown and uptownparking zones come up for renewal. The new parking enforcement system will give residents the convenient

option of dealing with the Parking Utility on the Internet. For anyone whois uncomfortable with the Internet, or who has no Internet access, permitholders will still have the option to renew by mail or in person, in Room13 in the back corridor of City Hall, 630 Avenue C.Doing parking permit renewals electronically will have certain advan-

tages. People will be able to request permits and manage their vehicleson the Internet, all without having to come in person and wait in line.Electronic methods will also be used more for permit parking enforce-ment. During the next two years, parking enforcement officers will replacereading permit stickers with license plate-based enforcement.When current residential parking permits get ready to expire, requesting

new parking permits online will be easy. Visithttp://www.bayonnenj.org/ then click Parking Utility. Ifthis is your first time visiting the site, you’ll need to createan account. Make sure to remember and write downthe user name and password you select. You will needthe user name and password to manage your vehiclesand renew your permits in the future. Click the option to apply for a permit, and then just

follow the step-by-step instructions. You’ll upload allyour documents there. The Bayonne Parking Utility will send an emailto you when you are approved and your new virtual permit has been ac-tivated. If the Parking Utility needs more information from you before itcan approve your permit request, you will be contacted by email.Please be advised that there will be a change to the visitor pass system.

You will now be able to register a visitor vehicle online for up to 15 (fifteen)business days at a time, for up to 4 (four) times a year totaling 60 businessdays. After registering a visitor vehicle for more than 60 days, you will berequired to apply for a residential parking permit for that vehicle. So I’ve been to a lot ofIndian weddings and I kind of know how they do it up, so it was reallyawesome for me to be part of that ... because I love the food, I love thepeople, the culture. And it was truly like ‘Yeah!’ when I found that oneout.”Doing “Buddy vs. Duff” brought Valastro back to his roots. He began

his career in competition, which he says served to sharpen his skills. Sothis experience proved to be a welcome challenge for him.“It kind of brings you back to like being reborn again, being a kid,” he

says. “You get that utter in your heart when you’re standing there, whenyou’re making the stu , when you’re creating the suff. So for me it wasreally an amazing experience.”
