Year 4: Returning to School
When I go back to school I will be going to be in Year 4.
I will be in Rosa Parks Class.
My Class Teachers will be Mrs Laming and Miss Croft
Lockers
Your Class teacher will show you where your locker is in September. It will have your name on it and it
will be your locker for the whole year.In my locker I will put:
● My PE kit● My rucksack● My lunchbox● My snack for playtime
School may look a bit different when you return. For some of you, it may make you feel worried, anxious or nervous. If you feel any of these emotions, speak to your parents
about why you are feeling this way.
PlaytimeAt playtime, you will be able to have a snack from your locker. You will be able to play on the playground or
the field when it is nice weather. On some
days, you will have the opportunity to play on the adventure playground. Members of staff will be on the playground
to help you if you need it. Remember they are always there for you. At the end of playtime, you will line up with
your class and your teacher will take you back to class.

What are you looking forward to when you’re back in school?I am so excited to meet you all and learn all about your favourite things.
Tell me about yourself…I live on a farm with my 3 children. Olivia aged 9, Isabella aged 8 and Oliver aged 7. We have 2 lovely dogs, Millie and Ellie. We also have 6 chickens and a cheeky hamster! I enjoy baking lovely treats and then packing a picnic. Then we all love to go on an adventures together. We are getting really good at making dens in the woods. Millie (my dog) looks for things to chew and usually has a long nap and Ellie (my other dog) runs around and round until we head home. We have also planted lots of seeds and grown our own vegetables recently which taste amazing! I look forward to sharing some of our adventures with you soon.
An interesting fact you may not know about me…

I have a bit of a zoo at homeI I have a golden retriever called Basil. He loves to roll in LOTS of
mud and dig in the garden. You will hear lots about him next year! I have a cat named Dougal,
although he is more like a dog - I have trained him to sit and give me paw Dougal loves to meow. His
favourite things in the world are: sleeping and eating. If he isn’t sleeping, he is meowing and if he isn’t meowing, he is sleeping. I have two rabbits (Radish and Cleo), they are 7 and 8 years-old. My
favourite hobby is baking. I like making tasty cakes and yummy desserts best. I enjoy reading and art too. I especially like to paint using watercolour. I
play the piano and I am learning to play the violin, although, I am not very good yet!
