This week – Position and Direction• This week there are 4 Maths sessions. We would like you to complete these

sessions at home. Each session should take about 45 minutes.

• In school, your child will be completing a maths assessment this week.

• If your child is not coming into school then the maths assessment will be sent via parent mail later in the week. When completing the assessment you can read the questions to your child but please do not help them to find the answer. If you can email us with your child’s score and any questions they found challenging then this would be much appreciated.

• This week we are focusing on:

• Lesson 1 – Clockwise or anti-clockwise?

• Lesson 2 – Quarter and 3 quarter turns

• Lesson 3 – Position and direction problems

• Lesson 4 – Mathletics / Professor Assessor
