YBE Pty Ltd is one of the largest Aboriginal companies in Australia interms of both assets and revenue. We are a privately-owned Yolngubusiness enterprise. YBE Ownership comprises of 26 TraditionalOwners from East Arnhem Land and an Executive Board of eight (8) ofthe Traditional Owners and Community Leaders. YBE was created toensure that the development of North East Arnhem Land's resources isshared and add value to the lives of all Yolngu people of the region. YBE has a permanent facility which includes our main administrationoffice, workshop and training facility based in Nhulunbuy to support ourwork in East Arnhem Land. YBE also have facilities in Gapuwiyak tosupport the HMO contract for NT Government and we have opened anoffice in Darwin to expand our operations into the north west Top End.YBE has performed contracted services throughout Arnhem land andthe Northern Territory.

Core Competencies:Environmental:The environmental section provides a wide range of multi-skilled operators undertaking miscellaneous tasks such asEnvironmental rehabilitation services, Weed Management,Landscaping, Irrigation, Arboreal Services, Horticultureservices and Ground Maintenance which unite traditionalknowledge, modern science and technical knowledge. Asset maintenance:YBE has a dedicated team to perform house maintenancework in Nhulunbuy, Yirrkala, Ski Beach and Gapuwiyak.Capabilities include general repairs, minor constructions,fencing as well as pest and weed control work.Civil Earthworks:YBE has a diverse Civil Earthworks capability, encompassingroad construction and maintenance, airstrip construction,drainage works, dam construction and general civil worksfor building and subdivisions. Ore Haulage:YBE (2) Pty Ltd has a fleet of road trains used to move 1million tonnes of Bauxite within the mine site. Due to theheavy production regime required a high degree of qualityand safety controls are in place. Freight & Transport:YBE offers the whole of the Top End to create a new l ine ofservice deliveries that complement our existing services thatwe have delivered in North East Arnhem land for more than50 years. From small freight to having the ability to carrypallets, tow trailers or arrange specialized freight services.With our dedicated fleet of vehicles that will accommodateall types of general transportation. Indigenous Labour Hire:YBE can supply contract labour hire for your everydayrequirements from Administration and Labourers through tohighly skilled operators and technical trades at verycompetitive rates. We supply labour hire candidates all overthe Top End of the Northern Territory to clients like RioTinto, NT Government, Local Shires and independentcompanies and contractors. Workshop:The YBE Workshop operates 12-hour days, 7 days. We havefully qualified tradespeople.
