description

This is a presentation created by Steven Talbott of Vacation Side Travel for a client who was tasked with coming up with some vacation options for their group, They are traveling in November 2016 but are somewhat flexible depending on pricing and availability. This presentation provides 3 options for the group to choose from - at this point the options are high level since you typically can't get pricing any farther out than 1 year - this is especially true with airfares. The pricing used is based on current or average rates and fares but have not been adjusted for inflation. The 3 high level options provided are 1) All inclusive resort in Mexico or the Caribbean, 2) A Cruise departing from a port in Florida, Louisiana or Texas or 3) Rental of a private villa, estate or mansion. WWW.VACATIONSIDE.COMOption 3Cost of Private VillaPricing Pricing of a villa can also vary greatly dependingon the time of year but most important factorsare the number of people and size of villa. The price should be about the same as the othertwo options, provided there are enough peoplegoing.Special Considerations Villas are my favorite for groups, although many travelagents dont work with villas. I have had many successfulgroups. The only negative I can think of would be paymentoptions. Airfare would have to be purchased outright, unless at least groups of 20 or more were departing fromeach airport For example, for airlines to allow payment options onairfare, we would need 20+ departing St. Louis, 20+departing Nashville or 20+ departing from each airportyou guys will be flying out of. 15. Thank YouWWW.VACATIONSIDE.COMBeing so far out, what I provided on the previous slides aremeant to be an outline and used as general guidance only.I would be pleased to offer your group a private website whereeveryone can join to discuss travel, suggest options, vote onvarious options, answer polls, share links, pictures, videos andmore. Its a great way for a group to organize travel and decidewhat they want to do as a whole.
