Modes of Study

EIMF provides classroom-based courses at our premises in Nicosia and Limassol, which are suitable to the

general public. Individual professionals and companies choose this mode of study, should they have a small

number of participants and/or they wish to collectively learn with professionals of other firms/sectors. All

classroom-based courses, including other training areas, can be customised and provided in-house to your

company’s or EIMF’s premises. Several eLearning options are also available to those who prefer to study at

their own time and pace.

CPD Training Courses

Important Note: Our training calendar indicates the number of CPD units that a course may be accredited

with, depending on the required subject area. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by the

association, regulator or other bodies in which you hold membership. Further clarifications are provided

below:

Financial professionals requiring CPD units to meet the education requirements for CySEC licence renewal,

and/or for maintaining other professional memberships/certifications which accept CPD in Financial

Regulation, are advised to consider training subjects in categories that indicate CPD training in Financial

Regulation.

Legal Professionals requiring CPD units to meet the education requirements for CyBAR licence renewal, and/or

for maintaining other professional memberships/certifications which accept CPD in Law, are advised to

consider the training subjects in our Legal Training, Corporate Administration and CPD in Law category.

Insurance Professionals requiring CPD units to meet the education requirements for the Insurance Profession

licence renewal, and/or for maintaining other professional memberships/certifications which accept CPD in

Insurance Services, are advised to consider the training subjects in our Insurance Training and CPD in

Insurance Services category.

Accountants and Auditors requiring CPD units to meet the education requirements for the ICPAC licence

renewal, and/or for maintaining other professional memberships/certifications which accept CPD in

Accounting/Auditing Services, are advised to consider the training subjects in our Accounting, Audit, Fraud

and Tax Training and CPD in Accounting Standards category.

Registering to a Course

Before registering to a course, we suggest reviewing the latest information available in our training calendar

and/or website at the time of registration, as the information provided in this document is valid at the time

of printing (last update: 27/11/2019). For the latest version of the training calendar, please visit EIMF’s

HRDA Subsidy

Business entities that are registered in Cyprus and meet the HRDA criteria, are eligible to attend HRDA subsidised training programmes and participate with a reduced fee. The main HRDA criteria are:

▪ The business entity is registered in the Registrar of Companies and Social Insurance Services in

Cyprus, and the Employees participating in the respective training courses are employed on a full-

time basis

▪ Both the employees and the business entity in which they are employed, submit their relevant

contributions to the Social Insurance and Industrial Training Schemes

▪ Delegates meet the participant profile, as stated in each training description respectively, and attend

at least 75% of their training’s duration, excluding time for breaks

▪ Participating companies submit the relevant HRDA application forms to EIMF, which are provided

after registration. The training fee is paid directly by the Company that made the registration. The

Subsidy is not a discount, therefore, the VAT is calculated on the sum of the HRDA Eligible fee and

the Subsidy amount.
