I passed the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET-2016) on February 2016,

conducted by Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu

At present I am doing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D Zoology -Full time) entitled “Isolation,

Characterization, and Diversity studies of Bdellovibrio-and- like organisms(BALOs) from

environmental samples and their Potential as Bio-control agents”, under the guidance of

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Three years of working experience in Project fellow in UGC funded Major Research Project

(MPR-Major-Envi 2013-25549) entitled “Isolation, Characterization, and Diversity studies

of Bdellovibrio-and- like organisms(BALOs) from environmental samples and their

Potential as Bio-control agents”, under the Principal investigator, Dr. P.Rajendran, Head and

Associate Professor in Zoology, at Vivekananda College, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai,

India,” (2015-2018).

Participate and completed 13 days hands on training in the UGC-NRCBS, XXXI winter

school on “Microbial-Molecular Techniques and their application” during 26th December to

7th January, 2017 held at UGC- Networking resource centre in biological sciences, School of

biological sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

Carried out 12 month research work on “Home remedy for dandruff” during my master of

philosophy under the supervision of Dr. N. Alaguchamy, Assistant Professor, Department of

Zoology, Raja Doraisingam Government College, Sivagangai (2009-2010).

Carried out 12 month research work on “Drinking water quality analysis of bore-well of

tannery affected Dindigul town, Tamil Nadu” during my master degree program under the

guidance of Dr. M. R. Rajan, Professor in Biology, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Gandhigram

(2006-2007).

Data analysis and report preparation. Sampling techniques for biodiversity assessment on
