    Xsilon’s family of HAN250EP Internet of Things connectivity devices areHanadu™  In-Home M2M endpoint modems for embedded IEEE- andIETF-compliant communications in residential and commercialenvironments.

    Hanadu delivers high-integrity 250kbps throughput of 802.15.4 traffic (egThread, ZigBee, 6LoWPAN) over in-home powerline wiring, providingseamless end-to-end interworking with radio-based 802.15.4 solutions.Hanadu combines radio and powerline connectivity to deliver whole home coverage using a common 802.15.4 platform, much as Ethernet alreadyunderpins a common platform via WiFi and HomePlug for broadband.

    HAN250EP devices act as endpoint Hanadu network nodes for deployment in embedded systems andlow cost devices. The HAN250EP provides a wide and flexible range of host system interconnects,capable of supporting all embedded product designs.

    Variants within the HAN250EP family include advanced feature sets such as embedded powermeasurement functionality for monitoring the energy consumption of the host system, integral programflash memory, on-chip application processing capability, and a further device specifically configured

    for in-home connectivity for smart meter applications.

      Application processor removes the need for a host processor in OEM systems
