Get SIRxs
• Download newest SIR version from SIR.COM.AU (in this example, the Windows version is used)– xs.01.08

Use the Wizard to install SIRxs

Verify/Unload/Delete/Reload
• Clean up current database before export to ensure a pristine, verified, version of you database
• Make a zip (just in case)
• Check hard drive space
• Run Lisstats to get a listing of database

Export Procfiles not in SIR014 Family
• Export only moves family associated with SIR014
• Need to export(PWRITE) other procfiles that are used. In the case of heartbase:– HBPROCF.SRP

• Export additional databases that you may use
• heartbase use a transaction log named HBARCHI2

Upgrade Painter
• Generate Screens– Check outputs to make sure screens compile
correctly. Adjustment to PQL triggers might be required.
• Generate GENHB menu
• Fix up those old nagging screen things that never seem to get done

Main Menu
• Remap main menu functions if need be
– LOCMENU.PQL is used by heartbase
• Add back any custom icons that might have created in the TBBB folder in the previous version
• Add back any custom icons that might have created in the dv\images folder in the previous version

Compile Members
• Since database was exported and additional procfiles were written out, it is necessary to compile any stored subroutines. (those :0 files)
• At heartbase, a member is used for compilation of compiled subroutines
