The engineer offered me detail solutions. Solution: (Warm prompt: Do not need to reprogram keys or instrument cluster) 1 Disable the speed limiter from Ford transmit connector 2011 plate. 2 After installing the IDS software to the laptop/computer, select toolbox>>module programming 3 Next select Programmable parameters>> Speed items

How to remove speed limiter by Ford VCM 2 V86 IDS software
Recently I meet a big problem with my 2010 Ford F150. I will try my best to explain the problem
as clearly as possible.
Problem: I bought a Ford transit connector 2011 plate two weeks ago. But later I found that the
speed limiter was down to 60mph in place. Then I got a Ford VCM 2 tool to remove it. So far, I
already installed the software to the computer and what I had realized was the full detail
information of F150 but no others. Without offering much detail operation guide, I did not know
what to do next.

Then I asked mu supplier for some technical help. The engineer offered me detail solutions.
Solution:
(Warm prompt: Do not need to reprogram keys or instrument cluster)
1 Disable the speed limiter from Ford transmit connector 2011 plate.
2 After installing the IDS software to the laptop/computer, select toolbox>>module programming
3 Next select Programmable parameters>> Speed items
4 Select Vehicle Speed Limit-(PCM)=Disable Speed Limiter>> Disable Speed Limiter
5 The program will pop out a note warning “Is the vehicle equipped with the PATS system?”, click
yes to proceed operation.
6 Under the Module Programming interface IDS now is erasing PCM (ECU). Please wait
patiently.
7 After erased ECU, IDS starts to download data to PCM (MCU). Please wait.
8 Click on tick mark to move on. IDS will inform you to turn ignition off and on several times.
Then the program will display message “Calibration has been loaded and checked” in the PCM
Reprogramming interface.
9 IDS will run the PATS service function automatically. Click tick mark and the IDS again will
inform you to turn off and on the ignition switch several times.
10 The interface displays operation successful and programming complete message. Then click on
tick mark to move forward.
11 IDS start to clear fault codes. After the errors codes have been successfully cleared, the process
is fully completed.
