Dear Parents, Welcome back for Term 4! I trust you all had a wonderful holiday and are back ready for what is always a busy, but fun, term. Class Dojo I had a wonderful end to the term catching up on Term 2 Dojo rewards. I got to practice the concert dances with Cayde, Keira and Keyton and Aiden taught me how to run a Djembe drum session. Layla and Iasiah challenged my fear by having me doing the flying fox with them at camp. I still need to catch up with Callum for sport this week. Congratulations to our Term 3 Dojo Winners: Scarlett KF, Sophia KG, Sage 1O, Noah and Sebastion 1/2G, Bethany 2/3C, Taiha 34H, Layla 4S, Lulu 5/6S and Tamatea 5/6O. I look forward to spending some time with each of you this term. School Concert Wow! What a great night the last Thursday evening of term was. It was fantastic to see so many of our school community here. I would like to thank all the staff, Dance2BFit and the P&C for their hard work in preparing for the concert around their already busy schedules. What a fabulous job you all did. But most importantly I want to acknowledge again how amazing our students were! How great was it to see all our students have their moment to shine Well done Wyee PS! Congratulations Lachlan! What a superstar our little Lochie is! In the last 2 weeks of school Lochie competed at the National PSSA Athletics championships in Darwin. He came home with a 1st in 800m, 2nd in the 4x100m relay, 3rd in the 200m and 4th in the 100m. Lochie also set 3 new School Sports Australia records for 800m, 200m and 100m. We are all so proud of you Lachlan. Scope IT This term our Stage 2 and Stage 3 students will be having Digital Technology lessons taught by the company Scope IT. A big thank you to the P&C who have funded this program for our students to enable them to learn the skills necessary to be successful in this modern age. Have a great week! Lyndal Coleman Principal Did you know? It is estimated that millions of trees in the world are accidentally planted by squirrels who bury nuts and then forget where they hid them.

Dojo Award Winners
Isaiah and Layla challenged Mrs Coleman to a dual flying fox ride at camp. There were a lot of nerves at first but it ended in smiles.
Aiden enjoyed being ‘Mr Brownlie’ for his Dojo reward teach-ing Mrs Coleman and the class how to use the djembe drums.
Layla enjoyed showing Mrs Coleman her Genius Hour project on Epilepsy for part of her Dojo reward.
Mrs Coleman joined Cayde, Keyton and Keira when practising their dances for the concert as their Term 2 Dojo reward. There was a lot of laughs as Mrs Coleman went the wrong way, but it was her first time so all 3 children thought she did very well considering.
