When did these miracles occur?(Mark 1:32 NKJV) At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.(Mark 1:33 NKJV) And the whole city was gathered together at the door.(Mark 1:34 NKJV) Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

Why did Jesus keep the demons from speaking?(Mark 1:34 NKJV) … cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.
PARALLEL: (Luke 4:41 NKJV) And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.
Recall the man in the synagogue:(Mark 1:24-25 NKJV) … What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are; the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

From this encounter we see: The demons knew Jesus and that
He was the Christ, the Son of God.
If, perhaps by our association with them, we give credibility to the corrupt, we may enable them to later harm us by their testimony.
