you  need?    Meeting  with  your  consultant    Face-­‐to-­‐face   consultations,  which  are   arranged  by  appointment,  can  take  between  one  and  one  and   a   half   hours   and   further   sessions   can   be  arranged   if   you   feel   that   you   need   them.   You  will   be   able   to   work   together   with   Dr.   Harris,  working   out   the   best  ways   to   use   astrology   to  help  you.    Consultations  via  telephone  or  email    Single   question   issues   such   as:   Shall   I   buy   this  house?  Will  I  get  this  job?  Should  emigrate?  etc.  can  be  made  by  phone  or  email.    Dr.  Harris  will   then  provide  her   report  by  email  or   by   phone   in   reply.   You   don't   need   to   know  your   birth   details   (i.e.   time,   date   and   place   of  birth)   for   question   astrology   (better   known   as  horary  astrology).  

   

Dr.  Pat  A.  Harris  is  an  experienced  consultant  astrologer  with  a  doctorate  in  health  psychology  and  has  been  in  practice  for  over  25  years.    Dr.   Harris   received   her   diploma   in   astrology   from   the   Faculty   of  Astrological   Studies,   London,   UK   in   1982.   She   has   training   in  counselling   and   has   a   Master's   degree   and   PhD   both   from   the  University   of   Southampton   where   she   researched   how   astrology  could   help   in   managing   health   issues   such   as   chronic   pain   and  infertility.  

 She   has   had   numerous   articles   published   both   in   popular  magazines   such  as  Prediction  and  also   in  academic   journals   such  as  the  Journal  of  Sexuality,  Reproduction  and  Menopause.    From  her  university   research   she  developed  a  unique  model   that  can  help  people  achieve  better  balance  and  greater  happiness   in  life   by   using   astrology   to   increase   self-­‐awareness   and   a   better  sense  of  timing  in  the  navigation  of  personal  life  challenges.    

 

 

Managing  chronic  pain  with  astrology  Between  1995  and  1996,  Dr.  Harris   carried  out   a   study  based  at  an  NHS  hospital  in  the  south  of  England  where  she   interviewed   six   different   patients   on   the   pain  management   programme.   She   provided   astrological  reports   with   comments   to   the   clinical   psychologist   in  charge,   on   each   patient's   psychology   and   individuality  and   how   problems   in   these   areas   might   be   hindering  their   rehabilitation.  The  clinical  psychologist   compared  these  with  his   own   reports   and   found   that   astrological  analysis   could   provide   useful   information.   In   one   case,  Dr.  Harris  uncovered  post-­‐traumatic  stress  disorder  that  had  gone  undetected  for  seven  years.    

Using  astrology  to  increase  fertility  treatment  success  In   her   astrological   practice,   Dr.   Harris   had   noted   how  traditional   astrological   factors   often   reliably   predicted  years   in   which   women   had   children.   She   tested   this  association   in   two   studies   (involving   one   private   and   2  NHS  fertility  clinics)  carried  out  between  2000  and  2003  for  her  doctoral  thesis.  Dr  Harris  looked  at  the  outcomes  of   169   fertility   treatments   (20   resulting   in   the   births   of  live  babies)  experienced  by  67  women  and  found  a  strong  association   between   absence   and   presence   of   certain  astrological   factors   and   success   and   failure   of   the  treatment  outcome.  Successful  outcome  of  a   treatment  where   astrology   was   present   was   significant   regardless  of  the  age  of  the  woman.
