Government of Jamaica (GoJ) SupportThe government of Jamaica considers this project to be of strategic importance to the growth of the local economy and had thus agreed to the following incentives to GGMD:

1. Excise Duty and Import Tax: – The enterprise will be importing building materials, medical & surgical supplies, etc.

in the tune of $50 million over 5 years and $140 million in 10 years– Excise Duty and import tax benefit: $19 million ($5 million in first 5 years)

2. Income Tax:– The entity will generate an income of $90 million in the first 5 years and $150

million over the next 5 years– Income Tax benefit: $84 million ($31.5 million in first 5 years)

• SUMMARYAGH - Jamaica will be a multi – disciplinary tertiary care teaching and research medical facility located in Montegobay , Jamaica. Facility will be supported and staffed by physicians from the AGMD network .This network will provide physicians the opportunity for ownership and participation to potentially improve their revenue stream and provide diversity to their income potential. Through this facility and network, physicians will be able to provide American standard affordable medical care to patients from US and globally.
