History (CWC) Capitol Wrestling Corporation
was the beginning in 1952. CWC joined the National Wrestling
Alliance (NWA) in 1953. In 1954 Roderick James McMahon died. His son Vincent McMahon Sr. to take over.
History 1963 CWC left the NWA and created
WWWF. World Wide Wrestling Federation
IN 1979 the WWWF was switched to WWF, World Wrestling Federation for marketing purposes.
In 1980 Vincent J. McMahon founded Titan Sports and bought out CWC in 1982. This began the wrestling boom.

In 2003, WWF purchased ECW , ( Extreme Championship Wrestling)
