World War One

World War One stared in 1914 and ended in 1918.This is just a few simply facts about WW1.

1.WW1 was a disaster for the world,many countries were involved

2.The soldiers were very badly treated and in fact many soldiers died in the trenches because of

trench foot.

● As you can see from the picture the trenches were not that comfortable

● There were also very packed in.

World War 1 Gas Mask

● Now as you can see from the picture the gas masks back then was not helpful.

● They were also very uncomfortable to wear as you were in the middle of WAR!

WW1 Weapons

● Machine guns needed 4-6 men to work them.

● They also had to be on a flat surface and they had the fire-power of 100 guns.
