System Security & Privacy Rights
Your User Id and Password, regardless of the computer system you are using, is your identification to the computer system. It is very important that you not share your ID and/or password with anyone. It is also a legal issue for you. Using someone else’s password to enter a computer system is a crime.
Everything done on the computer using your identification is your responsibility. Your sign-on with your password is the same as your signature. Students can NEVER key data into WVEIS. This would be a violation of FERPA.
If someone discovers your password, have it changed immediately. Don’t leave WVEIS signed-on and unattended.
WVEIS security depends on you! Be a responsible system user.
