Introduction We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as a 100% subsidiary of WÜRTH Group of companies (Kunzalsau, Germany) and we have christened our company in South India as REINHOLD WUERTH INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. Reinhold Wuerth India became operational in 2003 with specializing in Industrial Assembly Technology and within a short span we are now a 120 member family serving to our customers in Southern part of India. Evolution of Würth Group The building up of the Würth Group is the life's work of Professor Reinhold Würth, and one of the outstanding business success stories in post-war German history. He has turned the two-man business of his father since 1954, the time of rebuilding after the Second World War, into a worldwide active group with over 416 companies in 86 countries today with a turnover of over 8.8 Billion EU ROS as on 2008 figures. The core business of the Würth Group is the global trade with connecting and assembly technology that is implemented through an international network of group companies.

About our Chairman……..
Prof. Dr. h. c. Reinhold Würth
Born on April 20, 1935 in Öhringen, ReinholdWürth entered his father's screw wholesale businessin Künzelsau in 1949 as second employee and firstapprentice. In 1952, he finished his professionaltraining as wholesaler, successfully passing hisexamination before the Chamber of Commerce andIndustry. After the premature death of his father in1954, Reinhold Würth took over management of thebusiness at the age of 19. In the decades following,Reinhold Wuerth expanded the regional businessinto a worldwide operating group of trading
companies. Today, the Würth Group is representedin 86 countries of the world with a sales volume of 8.8 billion Euro in 2008.
In 1994, Reinhold Würth retired from operativemanagement of the Wuerth Group and took over thechair of the company's Advisory Board.
Reinhold Würth is represented on different advisory boards, boards of trustees and is a memberof many clubs and associations (among others, he is chairman of the Gesellschaft zur Förderungdes Württembergischen Landesmuseums e.V., chairman of the citizens' action group "Pro RegionHeilbronn-Franken"). The enthusiastic pilot (license as professional pilot/ATPL) andmotorcyclist (Harley-Davidson) is married, he and his wife, Carmen, have three children,Marion, Bettina und Markus.
Until the end of the summer semester 2003, Prof. Reinhold Würth headed the InterdisciplinaryInstitute of Entrepreneurship at the University of Karlsruhe. Reinhold Würth is honorary doctorand honorary senator of the University of Tübingen and was awarded both the GreatDistinguished Service Cross of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Medal of Merit of thestate of Baden-Württemberg. In 1997, he was made freeman of the city of Erstein (France). Inrecognition of outstanding merits and commitment to the spreading and communication of French art and culture, Reinhold Würth was presented the order "Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Artset des Lettres" by the French ministry of education and cultural affairs in March 2000. Carmen
and Reinhold Würth were also given the freedom of the city of Künzelsau in April 2003 inappreciation of their commitment to society and culture. In March 2004, Reinhold Würth wasappointed Knight of the Legion of Honor, in April of that year; the Ludwig-Erhard-FoundationBonn presented him the Ludwig-Erhard-Medal in recognition of his commitment to the freemarket economy.
