The values given in the table are reference values and have to be checked for every single application.

The data given in the table are reference values as the temperature and the exposure time play an important role for the determination of the resistance to chemical influences. Individual tests have to be carried out for every single applica-tion.

The values given in the table refer to an ambient temperature of approx. 20°C.

1 Some plastic types can be resistant to UV radiation by adding UV stabilisers or by using black products. 2 TPE is not suitable for caps and plugs that are in contact with oil as oil makes them swell. However, this quality ensures a very tight seal and in combination with threaded plugs it is therefore used for sealing.

The values given in the table are only reference values. Individual tests have to be carried out for every single applica-tion. Standard combustion takes place in an incineration plant at approx. 1,100°C. In case of burning below 1,100 °C harmful waste could be produced. Therefore it is not recommended to use this disposal method.
