General Information

The fabric temperature sensor WTM V10 is de-signed for the measurement of fabric temperature in dryers.

The contactless measuring unit detects the fabric temperature precisely and with a high repetitive accuracy. The sensor is placed in a robust alumin-ium case and connected to the measurement electronics via a metal braided cable. The sensor is designed for an environmental temperature of 180 °C (356 °F) and therefore can be installed inside the dryer. The sensor is protected against contamination by an integrated dust guard.

The measurement range is 0–250 °C (32–482 °F).

Optical Chart

Use the optical chart to determine the maxi-mum distance between the sensor and your target (object) and the optimum spot diameter for that distance.

Optics 1:22 mounted with a distance of 500 mm between the sensor and the product results in a measuring spot diameter of 21,25 mm, at 1000 mm = 37,5 mm etc.
