7. CONCLUSION
7.1 Per engine logbook entries, engine AV0095 had operated a total of 267.3 hrs and 282 flights during the last lease term.
7.2 Pre-removal Power Assurance Check [PAC] data provided showed satisfactory performance margins.
7.3 Borescope inspection revealed category C damage to HPT vane, which is acceptable for continued service provided repeat inspection at 600 hrs interval (400 hrs if not on ECTM) are carried out.
7.4 Borescope inspection confirmed that all other gas path components were in serviceable condition.
7.5 LH torque probe was changed during the last lease term.
7.6 Previous operator did not carry out preservation of oil and fuel system. A short engine run was carried out this shop visit to satisfy long term storage preservation requirements.
7.7 First life-limiter will be the HPT inter-stage air seal, with 1100 flights remaining.
7.8 At customer request, engine will be up-rated back to PW127F configuration (SB21590). Spare PW127E characterization plug is provided in engine logbook bag for possible future use.
