MODULATING CONTROL UNITS MS 20, MS 40 AND MS 60

With the MS 60, a drying plant operating to a maximum of 60kg of propane gas per hour, 20 kg for the MS 20 and 40 kg forthe MS 40, can be controlled in which several heaters (also allhorizontal models) can be connected. The modulating controlunit ensures that the heat capacity is automatically and con-stantly adapted to the requirement at any moment. This is acontinuous process. The drying of products at highly fluctuating outside temperatures can thusbe improved considerably.

The desired temperature is set on the control panel whichmeasures the temperature of the crop by means of a sensor.The panel controls the gas pressure regulator with a servomotor which provides more or less gas flow to the burnersand the temperature is adjusted until the preset value is rea-ched. The measured temperature value is digitally readable.The servo motor and the gas pressure regulator of this unit canalso be connected to a central storage computer.

The smaller unit MS 20 is supplied as a separate regulatorand a gas pressure regulator to be mounted separately with a servo motor. On this unit 1 to 3 heaters can be connected.

17OPERATING PRINCIPLE MODULATING AGA 102 EThe heater contains a modulating gas valve in addition to a modulating air intake motor which varies the supply to the burner. A separate modulating control unit, remote from the heater, measures via a temperature probe the room temperature or the product.If the measured value does not correspond with the pre-set desired value, the modulating control system will be activated. It opensor closes the motorised gas valve to increase or decrease the heat required automatically. The pre-set and actual temperatures aredigitally indicated. Several heaters can be connected to one modulating control unit, the module requires 0-10 Volt.
