WSS – round MONZA This weekend was just perfect for Chaz Davies (Yamaha ParkinGO team equipped with Bitubo) as, thanks to this success in Monza circuit, he reached the top of Supersport classification together with his teammate Luca Scassa, with exactly the same positive results. His victory was absolutely supreme, the rider from Knighton was in the lead of the race for all sixteen laps and lowered the circuit record twice in the race (the new time is now 1’ 48. 526). Scassa, from his side, could hold his own, getting the best possible result in such hard fought race, maybe he lost a little bit his concentration because he was waiting for the confirmation of his disqualification, which was in the air all over the weekend. Just after the race, it was finally confirmed for Misano round on 10 th and 12 th June. Race report Chaz Davis started from the pole position, after an incredible time of 1’ 50 starting from standstill, leaving all rivals surprised. On 9° lap, Davies increased his advantage over his teammate Scassa up to 3 seconds, while the third Fabien Foret slackened his pace from the second. Chaz Davies won his second race in the season after Luca Scassa and Fabien Foret; first in the general classification is Davies together with Scassa with the same 70 scores; third is Brock Parks with 60 scores. Unfortunately our “Ska” will be not able to defend his leadership in Misano as it will be disqualified because he attended as guest the “riding school days” organized in this circuit.
