There are approximately 5 million oil wells in the world, 600,000 wellsin China, of which about 60% are sucker rod pump (SRP) systems and20% are conventional PCP systems.

Any oil and gas well (including horizontal wells) with a maximumoutput of 400 b/d is suitable for THE SRD.

Any oil and gas well with a maximum output of 220 b/d with high watercut, low viscosity, low-sand and low-wax is suitable for THE LESP.

Each year, approximately 50,000 to 100,000 new oil wells are put intoproduction and all of which could be suitable for either THE SRD-2 orTHE LESP.

Conventional Side-drive PCP system, which will be banned in China in2019, companies such as Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, WaterfordInternational and Halliburton will be affected by this policy. However,we, the W&S Company, the only manufacturer of true direct drivesystems will benefit from the market shifting.

THE LESP at USA OILFIELD 2012

There are more than 1.7 million oil and gas wells in the USA, mostly run by private companies. Some of the wells are evenlocated next to highways or inside communities. Because the sucker-rod system takes up a lot of space and generates lots ofnoises, it affects the surroundings significantly. Also, there are a considerable number of expiring old systems needed to bereplaced. Our patented LESP has been installed and tested in California in 2010 and 2012. It takes smaller space and ourcustomer is satisfied with the results. Because of its energy-saving and landscaping features, it is subsidized by Californiagovernment.
