During the last two centuries, every nation in this planet, had there own unique language to communicate to other people. After the World War 2, Western culture had greatly influenced the practices of the East as the exchange of information was increasing in an unprecedented rate. Though having a single language would remove the barriers that separate people of different nationalities, there will be several hindrances to greater international understanding and co-operation across the globe. This essay will enumerate different evidences that will strengthen the proposition of having an international language. It will argue that while there are inevitable obstacles along the way, the contribution of having a single language are for more advantageous than speaking different languages.
