Writing Procedures
WARM UPWhy is it important to have multiple trials
during an experiment?
Why is it important to have detailed and complete procedures?
Now that you have your QUESTION & HYPOTHESIS….You will write your list of MATERIALS
and your PROCEDURES
Problem: An Alien landed on earth and discovered the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and wants to take back the recipe to their alien planet ….
Question: How do you make a perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
Hypothesis: If I put an equal amount of peanut butter and jelly on slices of bread, then I will have a delicious peanut butter sandwich because the equal ratio produces the best tasting sandwich. Independent variable: amount of peanut butter and jelly Dependent: taste of sandwich Control: same type of bread
