I. INTRODUCTION
The literature review provides the
foundation of knowledge on a particular
research area. It helps in identifying problem
statements and also to prevent duplication of
research work. Literature review dissertation
is all about identifying the research gap,
conflicts found in previous studies and the
open question addressed from other
researchers. It shows the reviewer that you
know a particular research area about theory
and methodology related to that research
area. It also shows them that you have a
better understanding of the research area. In
the proposed work, you must specify the
problem faced in a particular research area,
the need for your research over, you must
justify your research work. You cannot
convince your reviewer without a good
literature review work. Always choose
recent publications as reference for your
literature work. Google Scholar is an
interesting searching tool which helps in
searching different journals and magazines.
The literature review must contain an
overview of the research area regarding
current knowledge, and help in finding
different theories related to your research
area, methods and research gap. It is
necessary to select relevant research papers
as a reference for literature to show the
reviewer that you are aware of your research
area. If you are not aware of writing a

Argumentative Review
Argumentative literature review inspects
literature selectively to support or disprove
an argument, deeply fixed assumption, or
logical problem already established in the
literature. The main aim is to create the body
of the literature, which makes a contrarian
viewpoint. Argumentative approach
analyzed literature review is genuine and
important, for social science research like
education reforms and immigration control.
It uses the information to support the point
like the lawyer uses evidence to prove their
cases.
Integrative Review
It is a research form that reviews, analyses,
and synthesizes representative literature on a
topic in a combined way such that new
frameworks and perspectives on the topics
are produced. The content of the literature
must include all studies which are address
related or similar theories. A good
integrative review or Academic writing
literature review must meet the entire
primary research standard with clarity,
consistency, and replication.
Historical Review
It is a form of research review which
examines research throughout a period, from
where an issue, concept, theory, phenomena
started in the literature and then tracing its
evolution within the scholarship of a
discipline. The main idea of historical
review in research is to familiarize with
state-of-the-art development and to find the
direction for future research. It helps you to
understand the research area about what are
the methodologies already present in that
research area? And how you can bring
improvement in the particular research
field.
Methodological Review
A review is not a summarization of work
about what other researchers said earlier, it
not only focuses on the content of the
research work but it’s about how they said
it, what are the methodologies they used in
their research work. This method provides a
clear understanding of the framework which
is used in different levels of research for
example what are the theories used by the
researcher in that particular research paper,
about their research approaches, data
collection and techniques used for analysis.
So that the researcher can get an idea from
the conceptual level to the practical
document, which can be used in different
field like ontological and epistemological
consideration, measurable and quality
assimilation, sampler, questioning, data
collection and data analysis, and help focus
on ethical issues which must be considered
in the study

Systematic Review
It consists of an overview of existing
evidence related to a clear research question,
which uses predefined and standardized
methods to find and critically analyze
relevant research and to gather, report and
examine data from the studies that are
present in the review. It mainly concentrated
on the particular experiential question, often
comes in the cause-and-effect form, such as
“To what extent does one research work
contribute to others?”
Theoretical literature review
It mainly focuses on the theory which is
gathered regarding an issue, concept, idea,
phenomena. It states about theories what
theories previously exist, their relationships
between them, to what extent they are
investigated and how to create a new theory
based on that or test the new theory.
II. CONCLUSION
Your choice for literature review must be
based on your research area and based on
your research methodology. At the
beginning of the literature review, you can
mention the type of literature review you
have used and why you chose it for your
research. You can get help from online
literature review services from experts
who know that particular research area.
