About ScanBalt Campus MediaNet

”Science and Education to the Public”

• Link between actors from education/science and to both the specialized and broad media

• An Internet tool for distributing news and providing answers to scientific questions from the media containing adresses of:

- Information providers (e.g. partners press offices)

- Information users (e.g. journalists, news agencies)

• Shall generate interest among e.g students, skilled ex-patriates, investors and in general increase visibility

ScanBalt Campus Information Platform – WP Methodology

• Development: BioCon Valley, Centre of Environmental Biotechnology and University of Rostock (sub contract to ScanBalt)

• Other partners: Comment on draft versions, provide adresses on information users/providers, feed news and information into the system

• A board to be established acting as peer reviewers to decide who can have direct access to the system
