Woven Labels

We produce woven labels in any size, colours and design to ensure you have the perfect label for branding your garments and accessories.

Label QualitiesWe offer a range of woven label qualities for you to choose which will best suit your requirements. Qualities available include:

DamaskThis is our most popular label quality as it gives greater clarity for fine and detailed text and designs.

SatinThese labels do not provide the level of detail achieved with Damask labels but offer a smooth, shiny, soft appearance and feel.

TaffetaThese labels do not offer the level of detail of Damask or the softness of satin but are a lower cost option and are suitable where bolder text and images are used.

Also available are specials such as padded labels, die-cut labels, woven badges with merrowed edges and labels with heat applied backing.

Samples of all these label qualities can be found on pages 2-8.

Minimum Order Quantity & Lead TimesThe minimum order quantity for woven labels is just 1,000 pieces. The lead times for production are approximately 2-3 weeks.

QuotationsWe are happy to provide quotations on existing woven labels as well as new developments. If you would like a quotation please provide us with the following information.

Existing LabelPlease provide a physical sample of the woven label and if possible, the original artwork file.

New DevelopmentPlease provide artwork or sketch with quality, size, colours and finishing information.

Please also include details of the quantities you would like quotations for.

Artwork RequirementsFor quotation purposes we are able to accept a sketch or a jpeg/bitmap image file. For production we ideally need the artwork file in either AI, PDF, PSD or EPS format but can accept a high resolution JPEG or BMP image. Please ensure that all text is created to outlines and Pantone colour references are given.

Consecutive Number Woven Labels

If you would like to make each of your garments unique, we offer a woven label with variable data. The labels are woven in groups of consecutive numbers to ensure each garment has a unique identifier.

Woven Label Cut & Fold Options

See the below diagrams of the cut and fold options that are available for woven labels.

end fold

Label is folded down on the left and right side. This option is most suitable for sewing in neck labels.

mitre fold

The ends are folded under and up, creating a tab to be sewn into the seam.

manhattan fold

Label is folded at top and centre.

centre fold

Label is folded in the middle and usually sewn into a seam.

straight cut

Label is cut and edges are heat sealed.
