Now Thank We ALL Our God! Every year, the Pitman Council of Churches plans an ecumenical Thanksgiving service at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church. And rightfully so. If there were ever a time for an ecumenical service, it's Thanksgiving! The Pitman Council of Churches is made up of priests and ministers from all over Pitman. We work to serve our churches and each other. Whatever theological differences we may have, we strive to overlook them in a sincere effort to be thankful to God and work together. This is a wonderful group of clergy who enjoy each others' company and re- spect each others' points of view. Our Thanksgiving worship happens early enough in the week that it doesn't conflict with most Turkey Day preparations, so please consid- er coming this year. Give yourself a moment of grateful relaxation before you roll out a pie crust, chop up veggies, or smash a potato! The service is on Tuesday, November 26 at 7 PM at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave. We are all invited to a time of light refresh- ments and fellowship immediately following the service in Our Lady's Hall. (Follow everyone else to get there. It's just up the hill.) A special collection will be taken and evenly divided to benefit the PCOC Scholarship Fund and Compassion International to assist them with drilling water wells in developing countries. Please Come! Happy Thanksgiving! Holly Fair Craſters Needed! If you or someone you know is a craſter and would be interested in renng a table please let us know.
