Although we’re still a little over a week away from the official first day of Spring, the 70- degree weather this week has certainly given us a sneak preview of the warmer, pollen- filled days in the not too distant future. So what’s coming up on the church calendar in the final days of winter and beginning of spring? Teams of volunteers will be working inside and out- side of all of our church buildings (downtown and Ministry Mtn) to get the church ready for Easter. We’ll have jobs available for people of all abilities. If you can’t make it on Saturday, but can help out during the week, we’ll have project lists available at the church office. If you’d like to sing in our combined choir during the service, a rehearsal will be held at 11:25 am in the sanctuary. At 7:00 pm in the sanctuary, you’re invited to come and experience a powerful Good Friday drama that retells the story of Jesus’ death from the perspective of the people that were closest to him. Childcare will be provided. Following our Wednesday Night Supper March 23rd Jaye Masters will be lead-
ing us in a Painting the Psalms workshop. Painting the Psalms is for everyone,
those with no artistic leanings and those seasoned artists in our midst. We will
be using acrylic paint, our hands, and the meditation of our hearts. We gather
together and reflect on the Psalms in a way that intertwines the creative arts
and the beauty of poetry.
