THE COLLECT
Heavenly Father, whose blessed Son
was revealed that he might destroy the
works of the devil and make us the
sons of God and heirs of eternal life:
grant that we, having this hope, may
purify ourselves even as he is pure;
that when he shall appear in power
and great glory we may be made like
him in his eternal and glorious
kingdom; where he is alive and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, now and forever. Amen.

12. "BATTLE OF THE WORLDVIEWS: CREATION VS EVOLUTION" – Seminar by Gary Bates
Date: Wednesday, 28 Nov 2018 Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm Venue: Chapel of the Resurrection #01-14/15
We live in a modern age where scientific theories and discoveries determine what is real and true. Yet what about the theory of evolution? Is there space for Christians to affirm that God supernaturally created the world in six days? And what are some crucial implications of holding on to a belief in either evolution or creation?
Come and hear from Gary Bates of Creation Ministries International (CMI), USA as he shares his understanding
of the biblical account of creation and its relation to evolution. A time for Q&A will also be held after the talk. You may sign up to attend the seminar here: https://tinyurl.com/garybates or scan the QR code:
A very warm Welcome!
We invite members and visitors to stay back after the worship service for refreshments and fellowship at the Manna House.

“Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to
your name be the glory, because of
your love and faithfulness.

CHURCH RENOVATIONS
Termite infestation was found in various areas of the ceiling at the final stage of the renovations. In the interest of safety, the lower sanctuary cannot be used. We will have to investigate the wooden structure of the entire roof and so the sanctuary will remain closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
