A Scout is reverent toward God and is:
- Faithful in his own personal religious practices
- Respectful toward others and their beliefs
Scouting tries to support religious growth by:
- Avoiding scheduling conflicts with religious activities
- Providing religious services or transportation when the Scout is away from home

To “BALANCE” the Spiritual component we have the:
Troop Chaplain (usually from the Charter Organization)
Chaplain’s Aide (1st Class Scout working on his Religious Emblem Award)
who help provide this support by:
- Providing religious services on campouts- Counseling - Promoting opportunities for spiritual growth- Encouraging the Religious Emblem Award- Supporting Scout Sunday
