Today marks the beginning

of the first full week of school

for many students. Whether

we are students, parents,

grandparents, or just former

students, we have experienced

all of the emotions and anxie-

ties that this week brings.

Some are so excited to see

and ask if they have to go.

Parents sometime experience

sadness as they realize their

baby is growing up. It is part

of life.

How much thought do we

give our spiritual life? We

have been given life. What

are we doing with it? Are we

Do we recognize that we need

to grow? Do we just go

through the motions and an-

other year passes us by with

no progress? Does our Father

look at us with sadness in His

heart because we are not

growing up spiritually? Or is

He excited to see us maturing

in line with His perfect plan?

We can pray for our stu-

dents and faculty to have a

great year. This is where our

involvement begins, and it

leads us to know how we can

help in other ways. We must
