“...Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison on account and for the sake of Herodias, his brother
Philip's wife, For John had said to him, It is not lawful or right
for you to have her....when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced in the midst and pleased and fascinated Herod, and so he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. And she, being put forward and prompted by her mother, said, „Give me the
head of John the Baptist right here on a platter‟.”
Matthew 14:3-4, 6-8

Libby Dang requests your prayers for a co-worker who is battling cancer. This woman is too weak to undergo further treatment, and hospice services are beginning at this time.
The patient is mother to two young children and her husband is out of work. Pray that God would reveal Himself
in this time and bring comfort and healing.
Barbara Taylor asks your prayers for a patient at the hospital where she works named “Ed”. Ed has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. He has been told that he will only live two months unless he undergoes radiation that
could render him deaf or blind.
