April Outreach of the MonthFletcher Place Community Center is the St. Luke’s Outreachof the Month for April. FPCC has a long history of being inministry on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Through-out each month, you may find a St. Luke’s Outreach teamserving breakfast, dinner or working in the food pantry.During the summer, FPCC sponsors, “Art in the City.” Artin the City is a daily summer program for students (K-12)to learn the gift of creativity. Teachers from the HerronSchool of Art assist students in a hands-on experience ofcreating many different mediums of art. Some of the art-work created this summer will be on display in our artgallery this fall. Our financial contributions will go towardhelping this important ministry for children to thrive. If youwould like to assist as a counselor during the summer orhelp prepare lunches, please contact Don Cochran [email protected].

PBJ for HungerThe Garden, St. Luke’s satellite ministry, invites you to helpthem prepare PB&J sandwiches and pack lunches today inthe Great Hall from Noon-3PM. The food will be given tothose in need in our community. Donations are alsoneeded. Half the SkyThe first of six Half the Sky events takes place on Wednes-day, April 17 in Fellowship Hall. Register today in the WestPassage or online for dinner (cost: $10). Computer Recycling and E-Waste DriveSt. Luke's Green Ministry will host a community computercollection and electronic waste recycling drive on Saturday,April 13, from 9AM-1PM in the front parking lot. Bringanything with a cord. Small fee to recycle TVs.

Italian Tour ConcertShow your support for members of our Chancel Choir andhear some of the music they will be performing on theirupcoming Italy tour (April 28-May 5) on Sunday, April 21at 3PM in the Sanctuary. The concert is free of charge; in-vite your friends to experience this inspirational music. Afreewill offering will support the Interfaith Hunger Initiativeand St. Luke’s Music Ministries.

Kids Against HungerMore good stuff happening on Sunday, April 21: from 4:30-6:30PM in the Great Hall, we will partner with KidsAgainst Hunger to help prepare 20,000 meals. We will helppack highly nutritious, life-saving meals for malnourishedand hungry children and their families in Indiana andabroad. Families of all ages are welcome to join us.
