Its significant to Australia beacause of the number of people who died, were injured, for the bravery of many young men and women who put their lives at risk for our countries and made Australia a better country.

Where and When did this take place?

• The war started in 1914 and it ended in 1918.

There was a lot of places that the war took place.

• They had to continually move camps and they had to carry most of their stuff also use the animals to help them move from camp to camp.

Who was involved in world war 1?

• There were a lot of countries involved in the war,

• Some countries involved in the war were United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Italy, Japan, France, Russia and heaps more.

Do you think this event had impacted on Australia today?

• The war has impacted on Australia. It has made Australia a safer and better place to live.

Interesting facts• Over five million men enlisted,

many were killed and lots of men were taken prisoner. The men who were taken prisoner were starved and didn’t have any water, making it one of the deadliest things in human history. It is one of the largest wars in history.
