Data Reporting

Reporting formatStandard template covering detailed component removal data

• A/L or MRO templates as default format• Airbus templates as preferred format provided on request• ATA Spec2000 LRU Removal (Chapter 11.9) and Shop Finding Record (Chapter 11.10) as optimum format

Reporting channelE-mail ([email protected])

Reporting frequency• Supply of data monthly or quarterly, within one month from end of reporting period• Delay between removals and shop findings acceptable

Proper performance analysis requires quality data

*One line per removal event, mainly covering: date, tail N°, PN, SN, removal reason & shop finding

Objectives & Scope

“WISE Main Adopted Solutions & Tips” has been developed following airline requests for more advice and/or assistance to improve reliability / reduce operating costs (A320 Symposium, CSIP…)

“WISE Main Adopted Solutions &Tips” highlights some technical recommendations to:

Increase A/C availability and particularly Operational Reliability (OR)Reduce Operating Costs (maintenance cost, fuel / weight saving)

These recommendations have been selected through 3 different criteria:1. Technical efficiency demonstrated through in-service experience2. Economic efficiency demonstrated through cost/benefit analysis3. Wide applicability

Two types of recommendations are available:1. Modifications (covered by SB / VSB – mandatory ones are excluded )2. Preventive maintenance actions

For all items, as a supplement to technical aspects (background, recommendation, expected benefits), “WISE Main Adopted Solutions & Tips” provides a cost/benefit analysis to show the economic interest of this recommendation.

Yearly Cost SavingsPayback period =

b) “Cost Saving” notion for “preventive maintenance action”

Cost Saving = difference of cost between “fit to failure” & “preventive maintenance” strategy

The result of this cost / benefit analysis, based on fleet average data, is expressed through:a) “Payback period” notion for “modifications”
