WORLD FAMILY DOCTOR’S DAY CELEBRATION Rizal Chapter May 19, 2017

As one family, the Rizal Chapter, recently celebrated the World Family Day with

much joy and generosity. The event started with a prayer, headed by our president Dr.

Melmar Gansit. We were attended by the different Family Medicine Physicians and

patients from the different towns of Rizal. The event was in cooperation with the

Antipolo Cathedral Social Service Department where we regularly serve to our

community members who are less fortunate. The event was composed of free

cholesterol and blood sugar screening. As well as consultation with the different Family

Medicine Specialist. One on one education on healthy lifestyle and diet was also given

by the chapter officer’s. We had a total of 66 participants. On the later part of the day,

PAFP Rizal Chapter members started to weigh themselves as part of our share in

PAPF’s advocacy on Filipinos to get stronger, fitter and healthier. Mabuhay ang PAFP!
