Clothing:-children wear casual clothes-adults (businessmen) wear suits and ties-kimonos are long sleeved robes that are
secured with a sash around the waist called an obi
-kimonos were once worn regularly but now are only worn on special occasions
Culture
Food:-commonly eaten
with chopsticks (hashi)
-main foods are rice, fresh vegetables & small portions of meat, seafood and fruit
-rice and tea are apart of most meals
CultureMusic: -symphonic and
ballet are common music types
-pop music is vastly popular
-Gagaku is what music concerts are called that play older types of music
CultureLifestyle:-education is a main focus for children-jobs/careers are a main focus for adults
Leisure:-comics called manga are read-Japanese TV. shows called animes are watched
Manners:-taking shoes off before entering the house-being polite
Religions:-The Buddhism religion place Buddha statues on their homes
